Sting beasts are lured by strong-smelling substances like perfume, aftershave or shampoo and brightly colored clothes. Sharp smells of alcohol and sweat can also irritate insects.
Wasps are (insects hunters and) scavengers. They are attracted by sweets: eating, drinking and cooking. Ensure that waste is put far away and cool and is well sealed.

Cans are dangerous: you do not see that there is already another drinker in it. You can be stung in the mouth or throat.
Don’t walk in the summer barefoot in the grass. Bees or wasps can forage.
Bees and wasps are aggressive in the vicinity of their nest.
Avoid sudden movements, you make wasps or bees thus aggressive. Slam certainly never a bug dead that sits on your body, but shoot it with a finger.
